Deep your knowledge\, share practices and network.\nThe Manitoba Association of Women’s Shelters (MAWS) is proud to host the 2nd Annual Gender-Based Violence Symposium\, taking place October 7–9\, 2025\, in Winnipeg (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily). \nThis two- and three-day gathering is created for and by professionals dedicated to gender-based violence prevention. \nPlease note: Day One (October 7) is reserved exclusively for staff working at Manitoba’s provincially and federally funded gender-based violence shelters. \nAt the Symposium\, participants will: \n\nExpand their knowledge on pressing issues impacting the GBV sector.\nExchange best practices and innovative strategies to strengthen collective efforts.\nConnect with advocates\, frontline workers\, and organizational staff from across Manitoba.\n\n  \nEmpower\, Connect\, Inspire
